Role Description

This
is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Wiring Technician specializing in industrial control panels, located in Toronto, ON. The Wiring Technician will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and troubleshooting control panels according to detailed schematics and technical drawings. Additional responsibilities include performing quality assurance on wiring installations, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure precise execution. The position also involves routine testing of panels and providing support for equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Own basic hand tools (power and specialty tools will be provided)
  • Regular schedule working Monday to Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
  • Flex time is also considered
  • Competitive salary, based on experience

Knowledge/Education/Skills:

  • Electrical/Wiring advanced knowledge.
  • 5+ years of wiring industrial control panels experience required.
  • Field installation experience is highly preferred.
  • High ability to read and interpret schematics, drawing and Bill of Materials.
  • Great attention to detail, excellent handicraft abilities.
  • Team player, can-do attitude.
  • Solid communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Advanced ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Leadership skills preferred.
  • Ability to train junior co-workers preferred.
  • Vocational High School or Trade school preferred.
