Infrastructure Project Manager

Systematix is currently looking for an IT/Infrastructure Project Manager to assist our client in managing a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives focused on modernization, process improvement, and infrastructure uplift. Overview Systematix is supporting a global client in the environmental and applied solutions sector through an IT transformation program. Reporting to the VP, Infrastructure and Operations, you will collaborate closely with the client’s internal IT leadership, vendors, and business teams. You will help oversee the delivery of several concurrent infrastructure projects, ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and communications are managed effectively. Responsibilities Support the planning, coordination and execution of multiple infrastructure and IT transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, network modernization, and application upgrades Partner with the client’s lead IT Project Manager to manage project tracking, reporting, and documentation across a range of active initiatives. Facilitate communication between IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure clear understanding of objectives, priorities, and interdependencies. Maintain project schedules, RAID logs, and dashboards using standard project management tools. Assist with project budgeting, resource coordination, and vendor oversight as needed. Prepare weekly and monthly status updates, highlighting progress, risks, and next steps for executive and steering committee reviews. Identify potential risks or bottlenecks across projects and recommend mitigation strategies. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in IT project coordination or management, preferably within infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology environments. Strong familiarity with IT concepts such as networking, infrastructure services, security, and enterprise systems. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Teams. Experience working within or supporting large, matrixed organizations. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or a related field.
