HR Advisor, 6 Month FTC, Manchester (Hybrid Working), £40,000 Per Annum Macmillan Davies are working on behalf of a leading global law firm who are looking to attract a HR Advisor to join their growing HR team in Manchester on a 6 Month FTC. This role sits within the HR Business Partnering team and involves working closely with colleagues across HR and with key stakeholders throughout the business. Business partnering and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders Providing timely, pragmatic HR advice as required Identifying and driving improvements to HR processes Supporting workforce planning alongside the Resourcing team Assisting with vacancy approvals, selection processes and offer management Supporting new joiners, leavers, secondments and apprentices Conducting exit interviews and providing management information Supporting disciplinary, grievance, absence and wellbeing cases Providing benefits advice and managing maternity, parental leave and flexible working requests Ensuring accurate documentation and timely referrals Supporting performance review processes and development planning Assisting with annual salary review processes Producing MI and monthly reports Leading or contributing to HR projects as required The ideal candidate will have: Part or fully CIPD qualified a plus, but not essential. Solid generalist HR experience within ideally a professional services environment. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong influencing skills with senior stakeholders and excellent communication. Highly computer literate, with advanced Excel skills.
