Position Research Associate (Technology) – School of Technology in Elections, IIIDEM, New Delhi. About The School The School of Technology in Elections at IIIDEM specializes in digitalization and democracy and election management. About IIIDEM Established in 2011 by the Election Commission of India, IIIDEM is a premier institute for training, research, and international cooperation in election and democratic governance. Located on a 5‑acre campus in Dwarka, New Delhi, it offers advanced training facilities, a library, a 450‑seat auditorium, and residential amenities and hosts programs for election officials and stakeholders. Job Details Post: Research Associate (Technology) Location: New Delhi (Delhi) Experience: 5‑8 years Employment Type: Full Time Salary: ₹8.16‑8.28 LPA (Annual) Skills: Research, Research Analyst Education: Master Roles and Responsibilities Technology Research & Innovation Support: Undertake and assist in research and innovation projects related to Electoral Technology, focusing on emerging tools and applications within democracy and election management. Curriculum and Content Development: Contribute to technical training content, modules, and case studies reflecting the latest advancements in electoral technology. Technical Support in ICT Training: Assist in planning and delivering ICT training programmes for election officials and stakeholders, including election management software and new application platforms. Design and Delivery of ICT Training Modules: Develop, update, and deliver simulation‑based and e‑learning content on election‑related software and ICT tools used in election management. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and research skills in IT and technology‑based solutions. Skills to prepare technical reports, presentations, and training documentation. Knowledge of latest technological advances such as artificial intelligence and social media. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, hands‑on learning. Minimum Qualifications Post Graduate in Computer Science or IT related fields. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in teaching, training, research & analysis. Desirables PhD (pursuing or completed) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields. Experience in electoral systems, voting technologies and ICT tools for democracy and election management. Experience in research and publication of papers in ICT/e‑Governance/electoral technology. Publication or participation in technology innovation forums or journals. Certification in Training, Instructional Design, or Learning Technologies.
