Director (Project Finance) Gridlines is a rapidly growing international consultancy practice. We are a truly joined‑up global brand working on some of the most exciting project finance and infrastructure projects worldwide, helping clients tackle some of the world's greatest challenges. We plan to continue our rapid expansion and are looking for entrepreneurial leaders to join us on this journey. Responsibilities Lead the growth and development of the project finance team in the designated country. Lead multiple teams across a portfolio of active assignments. Provide strategic guidance and insight into the structuring of transactions. Review and interpret commercial documentation, ensuring it is accurately reflected in the financial model. Develop and enhance financial modelling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Plan resources across the team. Develop and inspire a market‑leading team. Instil a collaborative, high‑performing culture. Drive the growth of the project finance practice in the country. Lead business development and growth ambitions for a key sector of the business. Develop client pitches. Key Skills and Qualifications Demonstrated core values of Drive, Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence. Entrepreneurial flair and a drive to create something exceptional. Respected leader within the project finance sector. Sector‑leading expertise in Project Finance. 10+ years of relevant experience in a financial advisory or financial modelling role within a recognised advisory practice. In‑depth understanding of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial. Strong analytical skills with proven experience in building and operating financial models using Excel. Recent hands‑on experience in financial modelling for Project Finance transactions. Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is beneficial. Experience with the FAST financial modelling standard is desirable.
