We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. #WeAreWSP What you can expect to do here Developing and implementing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for land use, detailed design, construction, and environmental planning projects Overseeing and facilitating stakeholder meetings, public events, community liaison committees, community pop-ups, and site tours as required Developing web-copy, written and visual communications with support from a graphic design team Coordinating and liaising with stakeholders, scheduling and attending meetings and workshops, preparing presentations and taking meeting minutes Enhancing relationships with partners, stakeholders, and the public by providing project information, coordinating responses to inquiries, and contributing to the implementation of communications plans Engaging with community groups and key stakeholders by clearly communicating updates on construction, technical details, and work plans Writing monthly reports and technical memos and coordinating updates to stakeholder management plans Liaising with other communications specialists, contractors, engineers, and architects to prepare deliverables and respond to project enquiries Preparing work plans and costing for projects Contribute to planning and engineering teams who are obtaining planning and development approvals Organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings What you’ll bring to WSP University degree in Communications, Planning, Environmental Studies, or Public Policy, Geography, or a similar degree Certified or completed preliminary training with the International Association for Public Participation Demonstrate at least 5 years of progressive experience in a municipal or consulting environment where you have managed and executed a stakeholder and community engagement strategy Excellent written and oral communication and time management skills Demonstrated public consultation experience leading and facilitating meetings in-person and virtually Highly motivated, organized, flexible, enthusiastic team player committed to upholding our reputation for delivering high quality service Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team on complex transit and infrastructure projects is an asset Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, query, analyze, and effectively communicate information Eligibility or Full Member in the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, the Canadian Institute of Planners, and the International Association for Public Participation Valid Ontario Driver’s License is an asset Emplacements 25 York St, Toronto, ON, M5J 2V5, CA #J-18808-Ljbffr
