Senior Project Manager

Position: Senior Project Manager (Contract 12 month with option to extend) Location: Saint John, NB Are you an experienced leader in project management with a strong background in refinery or oil & gas environments? We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to take charge of complex capital projects from concept to completion. This is your opportunity to drive impactful projects, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure safe, efficient, and successful delivery. What You’ll Do Lead the early development and execution of medium to large‑scale capital projects. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals. Build comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resources, and risk strategies. Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear, consistent communication. Anticipate challenges, implement mitigation plans, and adapt to changing project needs. Oversee vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams—engineering, construction, project controls—to achieve project milestones. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports and presentations. Drive alignment across stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards throughout execution. What You Bring Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required). Experience: 15+ years in project management within engineering/construction, ideally in refinery or oil & gas facilities (brownfield and greenfield projects). Strong early‑phase project experience with heavy process design engineering. Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Financial acumen and strong organizational skills. Professional designation (P.Eng. or PMP) is an asset. Why Join?
