Williams Lake has something for everyone. Role and Facility Information Cariboo Memorial Hospital Cariboo Memorial is under renovation with planned completion in 2026. Currently, CMH is a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds. CMH offers ER, OR, Med‑Surg, and Obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient Hemodialysis Unit are operated on‑site. The CMH redevelopment project includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 in‑patient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department, and a mental‑health unit. Working throughout the hospital, you will receive excellent support from the other CMH specialists and family physicians. The CMH Hospitalist program supports the complex and diverse medical needs of our patients in an environment that fosters collaboration among specialists. Responsibilities Work 8 hours a day, seeing an average of 12‑16 inpatients per shift. Serve as MRP for complex medical cases and co‑management of surgical patients. Provide palliative care services. Participate in after‑hours call (mandatory). Qualifications Hospitalist with clinical experience; open to new graduates or experienced practitioners. Demonstrated ability to work within a teamwork culture and focus on quality improvement. Interest in practicing in a rural community setting. Compensation and Benefits Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract. Estimated remuneration for a full‑time hospitalist: $336,162.00 annually, plus MOCAP level 2. Retention Premium 12.32% Retention Flat Fee $19,092 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000 Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE) Possibly eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA).
