This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESTrain, support and coach retail team members in the proactive sales of retail merchandiseEnsure stores are adequately stocked for the day and merchandise displays are maintained and organized throughout the operating dayResponsible for daily cash handling practices and safeguards, including proper use of POS stations, cash floats, change orders and cash outsEnsure a memorable and positive experience for our guests and staff through implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to our hospitality, retail operations, safety and employee engagement standards and practicesProviding leadership and accountability to team members to ensure they meet all expectations of their roleAssist with scheduling and managing daily staffing resources to expected business volumesDirectly support retail agents in any service recovery issues that may arise reporting larger issues to managementREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSPrevious leadership and cash handling experience requiredExperience working in retail and use of point-of-sale systemsA passion for coaching and developing team members with a proven track record of “safety 1st” practicesA strong hospitality-focused approach with a natural ability to proactively listen to and understand guest needsA self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environmentCompetent administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment at a high altitude. Be prepared for all season weather (snow, rain, wind, hail) as retail operations are at both upper and lower stations on Whistlers MountainSecondary language skills an assetValid driver’s license (Class 4 Alberta driver’s license is an asset)To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record checkThe starting wage for this position is $21.00About Us:We’re more than a hospitality and attractions company.
