In this role, you’ll apply your mechanical and structural drafting skills to support high-impact nuclear projects, transforming complex engineering designs into precise, buildable fabrication shop drawings. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, efficiency, and innovation of Canada’s energy future. Your Impact Translate mechanical and structural design concepts into detailed fabrication shop drawings for nuclear facilities and components. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy, constructability, and compliance with nuclear industry standards. Apply knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and tolerances to produce high-quality deliverables. Support multi-disciplinary teams by integrating mechanical and structural elements into cohesive drawing packages. Contribute to projects that enhance the safety, sustainability, and modernization of Canada’s nuclear infrastructure. The Skills That Set You Apart More than 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural drafting, ideally within the nuclear or heavy industrial sectors. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Revit; experience with 3D modeling and drawing management systems is an asset. Familiarity with CSA N285, ASME, and other relevant nuclear codes and standards. Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment with a strong focus on quality assurance and safety.
