What you can expect to do here:

  • Translate mechanical and structural design concepts into detailed fabrication shop drawings for nuclear facilities and components.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy, constructability, and compliance with nuclear industry standards.
  • Apply knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and tolerances to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams by integrating mechanical and structural elements into cohesive drawing packages.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance the safety, sustainability, and modernization of Canada's nuclear infrastructure.

What you'll bring to WSP:

  • More than 5 years of experience in mechanical and/or structural drafting, ideally within the nuclear or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Revit; experience with 3D modeling and drawing management systems is an asset.
  • Familiarity with CSA N285, ASME, and other relevant nuclear codes and standards.
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment with a strong focus on quality assurance and safety.
  • Passionate about precision, collaboration, and contributing to projects that matter to Canada's energy future.
