Today, I am recruiting for one of my great clients located in downtown Montreal, an IT manager whose primary task will be the network administration and security of the company. The position is permanent and with great benefits.

* Respect the establishment's security policy.
*Manage purchases and budget monitoring in collaboration with financial management.
* Manage improvement projects.
* Document and create internal and end-user procedures
In more detail, here are the tasks to be accomplished:
Activity 1: IT management - 65% of the time
Responsibilities:
1. Customer service, interpersonal skills, good presentation, gives an excellent image of
the company, great availability.
2. Respect the security policy defined by the establishment
3. Management of the complete structure of IT hardware (network, servers,
stations, wifi, firewall, IP camera, IP telephony, access system, cloud solution
and any other IT service)
4. Project management, migration, implementation of hardware and software solutions,
5. Manage improvement projects.
6. Development and management of the allocated IT budget in conjunction with management
financial
7. Microsoft 365 environment management, security and compliance
8. IT security management, analysis of alert logs
9. Customer Support
10. High availability
Activity 2: Administration documentation - 15% of the time
Responsibilities:
1. Updating customer and company technical documentation
2. Monitoring documentation, setting up templates and rules
documentation to be applied by the team.
3. Create internal and external procedures
4. Ensure the implementation of good practices for the entire team
5. Regular communication with the management of the establishment
6. Attends meetings and meetings (team, suppliers, customers, partners)
7. Log analysis, alerts, increased systems monitoring
Activity 3: Project management - 20% of the time
Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure improvement project proposal
2. Manages IT projects from A to Z
3. Support other college departments related to IT
4. Team monitoring and reporting to management
5. Technological monitoring,
6. Proposal for improving services in accordance with the customer's needs

* Expertise in networking, security, VLAN, routing, Cisco Meraki and SonicWall.
* Expertise in Microsoft 365, security and compliance.
* Cybersecurity expertise.
* Fluency in oral and written French, very good knowledge of English.
* DEC or Baccalaureate in computer science, with 7 years of experience including at least one in
decision-making position.
* Certifications in cybersecurity, M365, Windows Server, Cisco Meraki.
* Knowledge of ITIL, Law 25.
* Knowledge of Datto, Autotask and RMM tools.
* Ability to work under pressure, autonomy, decision-making.
* Ability to work in a team.
* On the lookout for new products, solutions, self-training.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent service at
customer base.
