We are Fed IT, a recruitment firm in Canada, committed to connecting talented individuals with exceptional companies. Currently, we are supporting a prominent client in their search for an IT Manager focused on network administration and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the administration of Microsoft server environments.
  2. Manage communication infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  3. Implement and maintain network security measures, proposing enhancements as necessary.
  4. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of IT environments in accordance with established policies.
  5. Conduct regular backups and perform recovery tests on servers as required.
  6. Administer user access across the network and within Office 365.
  7. Monitor and analyze security alerts, producing reports and statistics for management review.
  8. Document and uphold network management protocols and procedures.
  9. Schedule and manage system updates outside of regular business hours.
Qualifications:
  1. DEC in Information Technology or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in server and network equipment management.
  3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments (2012 to 2022), including Active Directory and GPO management.
  4. Familiarity with networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP routing, and SD-WAN.
  5. Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  6. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French, with functional English proficiency.
  8. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  9. Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  10. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CISSP, GIAC) are advantageous.
  11. Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO27001/2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ITIL, and COBIT is a plus.
