TGS is currently hiring for a Field Appliance Technician Apprentice,andwe will train you.This position is responsible for being the face of Trans Global Service, demonstrating enthusiasm while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfactionResponsibilitiesAssist senior technicians with in-home appliance repairsProvide customers with courteous and professional in-home servicing of major appliances ensuring adherence to u201cThe Perfect Callu201dDevelop skills in conductingappliance diagnostics and complete repairsOrder parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintainedManage local parts inventory including assistance with truck stockProvide information to assist customers in obtaining optimum performance of their productsComplete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stockEnsure the proper maintenance of shop tools and vehiclesAdhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentComfort with hand tools and the ability to learn to read schematicsValid driveru2019s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)Outstanding Customer Service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and courteous phone etiquetteHighly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skillsPunctuality and dependability a mustMust be organized and detail orientedAppliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain oneDomestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification would be considered an assetWhy Trans Global?Paid hands on trainingEducation reimbursement for related courses taken during employment including G3/G and online appliance repair coursesCompany paid benefits after 3 monthsRetirement plans with company matching contributions after 1 yearCompany van and uniformsApply nowTrans Global is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and will accommodate people with disabilities throughout the recruitment, application, and selection process.
