Candidate to the engineering profession (CEP) – Digital Power Systems Your future role on our team Join BBA and kick‑start your career by actively contributing to various project phases as a candidate to the engineering profession in Digital Power Systems. You’ll help design control, protection and automation systems for high‑voltage substations across Canada. You’ll also take part in onsite work to ensure work quality and system compliance before energization. You’ll play an essential role in managing, coordinating and delivering quality projects with the BBA team. With us, you’ll get the opportunity to… Work on engineering projects based on IEC61850 standards Take on various roles, including project leader Design protection diagrams (logic and control diagrams) Design substation HMI/SCADA architecture and configuration Lead testing activities in BBA’s lab Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture? Thirst to learn and excel Willingness to work together while having fun Desire to be in the thick of the action Rigour and ethics Strong interest in the world of technology Summary of certifications and job requirements University degree in engineering Available for short‑ and long‑term work assignments at client sites Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and internationally. The frequency of English use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoing projects Advanced level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients in Québec.
