Are you a hands-on tester with deep FIX protocol knowledge and a passion for trading systems? This contract role offers the chance to work on high-impact equity, fixed income, and crypto trading platforms. You'll validate end-to-end message flows, support platform upgrades, and collaborate with top-tier teams in a fast-paced financial environment. A typical day:Create, execute, and validate FIX message flows using VeriFIX Support RHEL 9 upgrade and internal BAU trading projects Troubleshoot and test in Linux environments Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams Successful candidates will have:3+ years of experience in technology, ideally in trading environments Strong knowledge of FIX protocol and VeriFIX tool Hands-on experience in Linux environments Understanding of trading platforms and financial systems Familiarity with shell scripting and SQL Soft skills:Excellent communication skills Comfortable working with and supporting multiple teams Ability to work autonomously Total rewards:9-12 Month contract with opportunities for extension Hybrid model with 3 days onsite in downtown Toronto Opportunity to work on cutting-edge trading platforms Exposure to equity, fixed income, and crypto markets Interested?
