Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to technical/project managers on contract management issues, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Ensure successful project delivery through analysis of project performance metrics, cost/benefit analysis, and implementation of performance management-based outcomes using contract management best practices.
- Coordinate quarterly P & L reporting across all projects, reviewing and preparing reports with project teams before presenting to Executive level.
- Initiate continuous improvement in contract management processes, with support from legal and finance groups, to enhance internal stakeholder engagement during pursuit and project delivery.
- Develop and manage procedures for contract amendments and change orders, ensuring effective tracking of costs, scope, and schedule changes, and oversee negotiation of changes in compliance with corporate target metrics.
- Support proposal development and project execution teams by reviewing commercial and contractual issues to align with risk management and claims avoidance policies, including various agreements and contracts.
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 12 years of advancing experience in construction.
- 3+ years in a leadership position within projects.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale ICI (industrial, commercial, institutional) new construction projects exceeding $100 million.
