Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Support the development and execution of cloud automation strategies using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Architect and optimize highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Lead the implementation of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring tasks and enable efficient software deployment.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement appropriate measures to protect data and infrastructure.
  • Design and setup observability for both infrastructure and applications on AWS cloud platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve cloud infrastructure and operations.


Must-Have Skills:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure (Technical Architect Skills) (AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DataOps, DevOps).
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch etc.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • A deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, routing, and security groups.
  • Extensive experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in AWS environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong project management abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Experience working in AWS Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of both designing and implementing observability solutions on cloud platforms using different tools like Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics and cloud native monitoring solutions.


Certifications (Desirable):

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
  • AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
  • Any other relevant AWS certifications.
