AWS Cloud Infra Architect

Responsibilities:
- Support the design, implementation, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Support the development and execution of cloud automation strategies using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Architect and optimize highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Lead the implementation of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines to automate recurring tasks and enable efficient software deployment.
- Conduct comprehensive testing, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure components.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and implement appropriate measures to protect data and infrastructure.
- Design and setup observability for both infrastructure and applications on AWS cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, best practices, and industry trends.
- Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and tools to improve cloud infrastructure and operations.
Must-Have Skills:
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure (Technical Architect Skills) (AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, DataOps, DevOps).
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch etc.
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure tasks.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- A deep understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, routing, and security groups.
- Extensive experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in AWS environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and drive projects to completion.
- Strong project management abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality results.
- Experience working in AWS Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of both designing and implementing observability solutions on cloud platforms using different tools like Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics and cloud native monitoring solutions.
Certifications (Desirable):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
- AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
- Any other relevant AWS certifications.
