Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager Location: Queens, Prince Edward Island, Canada Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. As a Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager you will work with some of our largest and most strategic partners to drive revenue, GMV, and users. The role is high‑profile, partner‑facing, and requires outstanding relationship management, strategic planning, and stakeholder influence skills. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Alliances & Partnerships, you will be the central contact for our partners, driving business growth through strategic collaborations, expanding our reach, and creating value for both parties. What You Will Do Manage a large partner portfolio, developing and driving strategic initiatives to grow business and create new opportunities. Manage expansion opportunities, optimize existing programs, and set the strategic direction for projects and programs. Own a proactive client‑management strategy to drive incremental GMV, revenue, and users, expanding partner coverage and influence. Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to increase product adoption, visibility, and expansion. Orchestrate cross‑functional teams across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, and Risk to execute partnership initiatives and deliver results. Pitch affirm to new lines of business and own the strategic roadmap to highlight the value of our platform and establish integration paths. What We Look For 7+ years of B2B client‑facing experience; preferably in a high‑tech environment. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to manage strategic accounts. Experience managing cross‑functional projects with high attention to detail. Strong written (proposals, memos, emails) and verbal communication (presentations) skills. Excellent analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report on the impact of specific programs. Experience negotiating and closing commercial contracts (e.g., RFPs, renewals). Adaptability to changing priorities, initiative, and pro‑activity in ensuring project success. Ability to craft compelling value propositions, deliver persuasive presentations, and drive stakeholder engagement. Knowledge of consumer finance offerings, integrated software solutions, and e‑commerce preferred. Comfortable using Salesforce and BI tools. Compensation Pay Grade: KEquity Grade: 5Employees new to affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Order pay structure is based on location, experience, and job‑related skills. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (OTE) range, which includes the annual base pay and the sales incentive target. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).CAN On Target Earnings per year: $163,500 - $186,000 Benefits Health care coverage – affirm covers all premiums for all levels of coverage for you and your dependents.
