Watch & Jewelry Consultant – Yorkdale Role at Piaget under Richemont Americas. Role Overview The Watch and Jewelry Consultant is a representative of Piaget responsible for ensuring exceptional service for all clients, achieving sales targets, and proactively developing a Piaget client base. Key Responsibilities Achieve sales targets and KPIs while proactively developing a Piaget client base. Define and recruit prospective clientele. Assist and support after‑sales clients. Develop a detailed knowledge of Piaget creations to provide exceptional customer service. Participate in boutique events to develop potential clientele. Share ideas and recommendations to management for business development. Follow and implement required procedures, standards, and policies as outlined in the Retail Book and RISE. Provide exceptional customer service surpassing clients’ expectations. Demonstrate the refined luxury lifestyle of Piaget through customer service, attitude, personal grooming, dress code, and behavior. Ensure the highest level of service and care for both clients and prospects. Implement effective data capture and follow‑up for clients, prospects, CS and reservations. Build, develop and maintain a local and international client database ensuring client loyalty. Resolve client challenges with professionalism, investigating problems and recommending solutions. Recommend improvements to the management team in boutique operations and maintenance. Attend boutique meetings and trainings as required. Support management in back‑of‑house and administrative operations. Demonstrate flexibility by supporting ad‑hoc responsibilities. Utilize boutique technology to facilitate sales with an omni‑channel mindset. Control inventory quality (scratches, movements, batteries) maintaining exceptional selling conditions. Participate in all inventory activities—daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. Take ownership of designated inventory categories, maintaining the highest standard. Implement and follow visual merchandising guidelines. Ensure merchandise presentation reflects VM standards and general cleanliness of the boutique at all times. Qualifications Education: High school required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years as a sales consultant in a luxury retail or service environment. Languages: English required; other languages a plus. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional Appearance: Well‑groomed with a professional attitude. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the luxury market, customer service, and high‑watch and jewelry industry. Innovation: Ability to set customer‑care standards and show initiative. Respect: Demonstrate respect and politeness. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 5 lbs and manipulate cases, fixtures, trays, etc. Scheduling: Must work a retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Personal Skills: Enthusiastic, self‑confident, self‑motivated, positive attitude. Professionalism at all times. Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
