Join us at Qualitest We are looking for a Functional Testing Engineer to join our growing team in Canada Job Description Ensure the quality and reliability of software by identifying and fixing defects in software applications: Test cases: Create and execute test cases to identify defects and inconsistencies Defect documentation: Identify and document defects, issues, and test results Collaboration: Work with the development team, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure testing activities align with project goals Feedback: Provide feedback to the development team to improve the product's design and functionality Test types: Perform manual testing in both white box and black box environments Software integration: Ensure the software integrates smoothly with other software and is compatible with many devices User experience: Determine what type of experience the user will have with the software Manual testers are part of the software development team and take on the role of an end user to test the program or app. They use a rigid software testing flowchart to check every aspect of the program, which automated software cannot always replicate.
