E2E Tech Lead Apex Systems, a global IT services firm, is seeking an experienced E2E Tech Lead to join a high‑performing team supporting a Big Five Bank client. Job Overview Client: Big Five BankContract: 6 months (extendable based on performance)Location: Hybrid – Toronto (downtown, twice a week) Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end system design and integration for Canadian P&BB Technology. Lead large multi‑channel, multi‑platform, multi‑vendor initiatives. Liaise with third‑party vendors to ensure practical integration of products and systems. Support Tech PM for planning deliverables and highlighting dependencies. Coordinate with assigned BAs to raise any cross‑project impacts during requirements phase. Coordinate development across all impacted platforms and applications, including change requests. Assist Test Lead with functional, UAT, performance, and penetration triage to resolve defects and findings. Participate in application releases (DEV, QA, PERF, PROD) and provide technical guidance. Create and oversee project documentation for technical designs. Lead process and application improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, extensibility, and SLA. Coach and guide team members; may act as team/project lead to foster professional development. Qualifications Knowledge University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of software development experience. 3+ years leading technology teams across varied platforms. Experienced in design and analysis methodology and application development processes. Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, Agile, QA requirements, software release protocols with a focus on automation. Familiarity with emerging technologies and industry directions. Skills Advanced critical thinking and analytical problem‑solving. Solid technical leadership, organization, and relationship management. Proven success as a technical team leader. Rapid adaptation to new technologies and platforms. Effective collaboration with diverse technical and business teams. Excellent written and verbal communication. Expert understanding of channel, web services (SOAP/REST), SQL, batch processing. Expert system integration and data mapping. Security framework knowledge (PKI, mutual SSL, OAuth). Proficiency in at least one programming language.
