Associate Director Procurement Governance & Compliance Mississauga, Ontario – Hybrid (3 days in the office) Base pay range CA$140,000.00/yr - CA$150,000.00/yr Our client is a huge Canadian organisation who are in the middle of a Procurement transformation. Led by one of the strongest Heads of Procurement in Canada, they are redeveloping the Sourcing team which has led to a number of job vacancies. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Associate Director, Procurement Governance & Compliance will lead the procurement governance and compliance mandate. You will ensure seamless delivery of best practices in policy development, training, document management, and compliance, while driving transformation and risk reduction across procurement operations. Responsibilities Own and enhance procurement governance frameworks, consolidating policies and procedures into a single, accessible document. Lead compliance monitoring and controls, designing frameworks and overseeing audits. Develop and deliver training programs, including playbooks, e-learning, and onboarding materials. Champion change and communications, curating governance content for internal and external stakeholders. Establish structured procurement intake and pipeline planning, ensuring visibility and prioritization. Manage conflicts of interest processes, mitigating risks and ensuring transparency. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and market engagement. Drive social procurement initiatives, including sustainability and supplier diversity. Lead and inspire a team, creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.
