Led by one of the strongest Heads of Procurement in Canada, they are redeveloping the Sourcing team which has led to a number of job vacancies. They are recruiting for a Director of Indirect Procurement to lead team of Category Managers and Sourcing Specialists including IT, Facilities, Operations, Marketing and Professional Services. The company is going through a major, procurement transformation, and as part of the leadership team, you will lead your team through the process and systems implementations, as well as leading them through a multi-year, multi-billion dollar project. As the Director Indirect Procurement, you will:Lead development of multi-year operations procurement strategies aligned with the operational needs.Oversee major procurements and commercial execution for high-value operational projects.Design and manage supplier prequalification frameworks and market engagement initiatives.Champion governance, policy adherence, and compliance across all operations procurement activities.Implement structured intake and pipeline planning for operational sourcing needs.Partner with Supplier Relationship Management to monitor supplier performance and drive improvements.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and service-focused culture.Provide thought leadership to align procurement strategies with corporate goals.As the ideal candidate you will have:10+ years strategic procurement experience7+ years’ leadership experienceBroad Indirect Category experienceAbility to lead high-performing teams, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate complex procurement strategies clearly Impeccable communication skills – both verbal and written
