Job title: Technical Sales Specialist - Power Generation Location: Dartmouth, NS Permanent Position – on the road Hours: 8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch Salary: $53,000 + full commission plan Benefits: $500/year spending account, car allowance, 3.5% matched pension, 3 weeks vacation Keywords: #Sales.representative.jobs #Power.generation.industry #technical.sales.representative.jobs The Opportunity Grow industry revenues within top accounts; acquire large accounts ($60K‑$500K) Lead sales strategy, target accounts, prospecting, lead follow-up, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers Retain and grow top accounts by identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions The Role Source and prospect new clients continuously; conduct sales calls, cold calls, and lead/referral follow‑up to present solutions and increase sales in assigned territory Identify and build relationships with decision‑makers within existing accounts, creating ongoing relationship strategy and cultivating partnerships Review and provide input on target client opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall account strategy Forecast, deliver, and adjust accounts to meet contract terms Coordinate with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts Conduct follow‑up with customers on orders, quotes, and service requests; source competitor information and analysis to overcome objections Develop proposals and quotes based on client needs, specifications, and product offerings Fully comply with Impact sales process and installed CRM tools (Salesforce) The Candidate Education: Bachelor’s degree/College Diploma (asset) Experience: Minimum 4 years with proven record in attaining/exceeding account management and sales goals Qualifications: Knowledge of diesel/gas generators (e.g., Volvo Penta MTU) Belcan is a leading provider of qualified personnel to many of the world’s most respected enterprises.
