Position Overview: As Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company by driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies, educating them about CDR, and guiding them through the process of implementing our solutions to close their net zero "last push" gap. You will be instrumental in building our sales playbook, shaping our pipeline, closing crucial deals, and helping to build a top-notch sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies, guiding them through the process of understanding and implementing CDR solutions to achieve their net zero goals.
  • Own the full customer cycle, from initial outreach to contract signature and beyond, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Develop, write, and deliver compelling proposals in-person or online, showcasing the value of our solutions and how they align with the company's sustainability objectives.
  • Become an expert in the field of CDR and a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on navigating the world of net zero targets and carbon removal.
  • Assist in building and mentoring a high-performing sales team, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement.
  • Represent us at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and drive business growth.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant quota-carrying sales experience, with a proven track record of sales excellence.
  • Experience negotiating complex deals, preferably involving CDR or other carbon solutions.
  • Strong networker with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Scientifically oriented with the ability to interpret white papers and primary research.
  • Proven experience in opening new territories and prospecting new business.
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers in corporate sustainability offices and carbon trading desks is highly desirable.
  • Excitement about joining a startup, being resourceful, and operating in a fast-paced environment.
