Colony Account Manager – Livestock Feed Southern Alberta Do you enjoy being on a farm, talking livestock, and building genuine relationships with producers? Are you someone who understands feed programs and genuinely enjoys working with Hutterite Colonies? Masterfeeds is a Canadian leader in livestock and poultry nutrition, and we are growing our sales team in Southern Alberta. We are looking for a Colony Account Manager who knows the livestock feed business and values long‑term, trust‑based relationships just as much as hitting sales targets. This role is a strong fit for someone who prefers working face‑to‑face with customers, understands how colonies operate, and takes pride in being a reliable partner, not just a salesperson. What This Role Looks Like Day to Day You will manage a defined territory and work closely with Hutterite Colonies and other livestock producers. Your focus will be on growing the business through strong relationships, sound nutrition programs, and consistent follow‑through. Responsibilities Build long‑term relationships with Hutterite Colonies and livestock producers Sell a full range of livestock feed, including poultry, swine, dairy, and beef Spend time on the farm discussing feed programs, production goals, and opportunities for improvement Work with Masterfeeds nutritionists and internal teams to deliver practical solutions Present feeding programs, proposals, and feed trials Attend producer meetings, colony visits, and industry events Manage your territory to grow sales while maintaining strong customer loyalty Qualifications Experience in livestock feed, animal nutrition, or agricultural sales Comfort and experience working with Hutterite Colonies, or a strong interest in doing so Understanding of livestock production systems Strong communication skills and a relationship‑first mindset Self‑motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule and territory Willingness to travel throughout Southern Alberta Benefits Well‑established, financially stable company with a strong reputation in animal nutrition Competitive base salary plus commission Pension plan and full group benefits Vehicle allowance and performance incentives Support from experienced nutritionists and a collaborative sales team A role where relationships truly matter Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Sales, Business Development, and Consulting Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada | Salary: CA$54,000.00 – CA$60,000.00 | Posting date: 2 weeks ago #J-18808-Ljbffr
