We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Lead Product Manager / Owner to lead and guide our newly established product team in Canada focusing on Digital Banking Channels including Payments, Consumer Driven Finance and Fintech. This pivotal role involves leading the analysis and design of innovative solutions that comply with regulatory frameworks and align with the strategic objectives of our credit union and banking customers in Canada. What you will be doing: Conducting detailed analyses of regulatory requirements for digital banking, payments and consumer driven finance / open banking, Fintech in Canada, interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and solutions, and following up implementations of those. Producing comprehensive traceability matrices to ensure end-to-end compliance with the regulation. Engaging with stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes on systems, processes, and workflows. Supporting internal advocacy efforts by contributing to internal communications, regulatory insights, and compliance timelines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deep dives, impact assessments, and detailed requirement gathering. Monitoring regulatory developments to ensure timely and proactive responses to emerging compliance needs. Undertake market research, collate feature recommendations from clients and build a pipeline of requirements. Identify market trends and opportunities in digital banking, fintech, payments and consumer driven finance and develop requirements for innovative products and services. Contribute to pre-sales efforts for development of agreements such as SOWs, schedules, etc. Plan, prepare and present a consolidated roadmap plan for Canadian FIs incorporating core global digital banking features, Canadian layer needs and specific FI needs. Responsibility for the grooming and refinement of a backlog of features for Canadian FIs. Provide support and guidance to presales and professional services on new system features. Organizing regular user group presentations on roadmap features and progress to a group of Canadian FIs. What we are looking for: Proven 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager / Product Owner in a regulatory environment, preferably within financial services. Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field Certifications in product management/owner such as Pragmatic, PMI, Product School, etc. Experience with Canadian regulatory and trends in Digital Banking, Open Banking, Payments and Fintech in Canada Experience in regulatory interpretation, impact analysis, and the creation of traceability matrices. Ability to conduct detailed mappings of regulatory requirements to organizational systems. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives and cross-functional teams. Experience with different Digital Banking, Payments, Open Banking, Fintech Frameworks and being involved in API integrations or implementations Understanding Clients’ use cases and advise most suitable integration practices Managing the full implementation cycle end-to-end, to the point they launch Comfortable in delivering technical presentations & product demonstrations to prospective clients Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams What we are offering: Remote Freedom, Your Way: At VeriPark we believe in the power of talent, no matter where it resides.
