About the Role As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will be responsible for identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles in our company. Your goal is to work collaboratively with our Talent Acquisition and HR teams, as well as our hiring managers, to attract top talent to our organization while ensuring an excellent candidate experience. Success in this role will be demonstrated through your ability to build relationships with stakeholders, meet hiring needs in a timely manner, and build pipelines for future roles. Benefits Work Environment – Work onsite in a beautiful home office building with access to a fitness facility, onsite nurse, and a café Competitive Compensation – Including an annual bonus plan, pension plan, and parking allowance Flexible Benefits Plan – Including medical and dental benefits effective from day one Paid Vacation – Plus an annual option to purchase additional vacation Wellness Support – With an annual wellness allowance, paid personal care days, and a 24/7 Employee & Family Assistance Program Opportunities to give back to community causes – Choose when and where to make an impact with a paid volunteer day, company volunteer opportunities, and a donation matching program Your Responsibilities Provide input to ensure teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals Ensure staffing needs are met with a long-term strategy in mind Work with HR Business partners and Sourcing Specialists to develop and implement appropriate talent sourcing strategies, and ensure appropriate talent platforms are utilized Implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive candidate experience Build close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline Your Skills Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods Proficiency with social media, talent databases, and professional networks Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of applicant tracking systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Your Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role Post‑secondary education in a related field (business, administration, human resources, or marketing preferred) Irving Oil is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
