Assistant Store Manager role at Dollarama The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence. Daily Tasks (but not limited to) Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management. Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments. Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues. Training, coaching, and developing employees. Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed. Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback. Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. Maintaining visual merchandising standards. Responsible for hiring and performance management. What Do You Need to Succeed? Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience. At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role. Open availability (day, evening, weekend). Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Why Join Our Team?
