Vice President, Finance

These businesses provide a foundation on which the rest of our economy moves. Robert Half is working with one of these organizations to help identify a new Vice President of Finance. You have likely never heard of this organization, but you have very likely used a product that they either manufacture, import, or distribute. As the size and complexity of the company’s operations have increased, so have the demands on its finance function. Consequently, the business needs to enhance its leadership in the finance team by adding a Vice President of Finance, who will report to the Principal Shareholder and CEO, an entrepreneurial leader. Since this role is new, it is expected that the existing team will remain in place, and the new VP Finance will have the opportunity to bring leadership, management, and fresh ideas to the company’s finance function. Additionally, the VP Finance will: Oversee and manage a domestic team of accounting staff Oversee the accounting and finance aspects of foreign manufacturing operations Encompass all aspects of finance: managing foreign exchange, working with multiple banks and currencies, providing oversight of all financial reporting and preparation of consolidated statements, overseeing annual audits for all companies and subsidiaries, and reviewing accounting policies and procedures Provide strategic insight into business planning, forecasting, and analysis Oversee the management and development of Information Technology systems and resources Job Requirements : This organization reflects a culture rooted in both family values and entrepreneurship.
