Forklift Operator And Material Handler

**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler****Shift** : The standard working hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.**Wage**- $24-26/hr.**Job Description**The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all shipping documentation, ensuring that all incoming products match the shipping documents, and entering information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).**Responsibilities**Review and verify all shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Purchase Orders (POs).Ensure incoming products match shipment details and enter data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Place products in appropriate locations, racking, or sectors within the yard.Check outgoing orders to ensure paperwork matches products, and that items are palletized, wrapped, labeled, and documented correctly.Operate a Sit-down Counterbalance Forklift and a Reach forklift to load and unload flatbeds and trucks.Handle movement of large, long, and heavy equipment and products safely.**Essential Skills**4+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.Proficient in operating Sit-down Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.Experience with loading and unloading flatbed trailers and trucks.Knowledge of shipping documentation including BOLs, POs, and cross-border documentation.Computer skills for data entry and documentation.**Work Environment**Work in a modern warehouse and machine shop environment across two locations with a total of six bays.
