**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Operation**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to lift, transport, and load bulk materials onto a deck trailer.

Safely operate a skid steer on and off a flat deck trailer and for snow removal.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance of equipment, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and greasing components to ensure optimal functionality.
- **Material Handling**:

- Load customer and contractor vehicles with requested materials, ensuring accuracy and safety during the loading process.
- Organize and maintain material stockpiles to keep materials fresh and separated, assessing inventory levels to determine when reordering is necessary.
- **Yard Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including sweeping, debris removal, and general housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in snow removal during the winter months.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety among coworkers and reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to equipment operation and material handling.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience operating a forklift or similar heavy equipment is preferred but not required.
- **Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
- **Licenses and Certifications**:

- Valid driver’s license required.
- Skid-steer certification
- Forklift certification

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work both inside and outside, in varying weather conditions, and around moving equipment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays as required.
