Senior Salesforce Developer – Responsibilities Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools. Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools (Amazon Connect experience preferred). Align development with best practices, scalability, and security standards. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code; perform unit testing and participate in peer reviews. Troubleshoot and optimize existing Salesforce implementations for performance and reliability. Work with cross‑functional teams (Admins, Business Analysts, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Workplace Hybrid, requiring 3 days/week in Toronto office. Must Have Skills 6+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components). Familiarity with Sales, Service Cloud, Knowledge, and Contact Center operations. Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits. Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Preferred Skills Experience with Amazon Connect, middleware, and ETL tools. Experience with CRM Analytics & Skuid. Experience with Financial Service Cloud. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps QA integration. Professional Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong team and individual player. Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature. High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results. Self‑sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention. Demonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues.
