The emphasis is on moving from theory to practice and further developing interaction design process skills through user research, requirements and specifications development, use of UX and UI design patterns, prototyping and usability testing. Qualifications – Required Degree: Master’s Degree Qualifications - Other: Preferred PhD with strong emphasis on human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, or interaction design Demonstrated expertise in interaction design principles and human factors Prior teaching or instructional experience, preferably at the university level Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for interaction design and user research Familiarity with the human factors literature and industry best practices Commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in the classroom Application Deadline: Monday December 15, 2025 Submit with Application: Required for All Applicants CV with current contact information (required) Names and Contact Information for Referees Evidence of Good Teaching/Official Course Evaluations Optional Teaching Dossier Sample Course Outline (2-pages maximum) Candidates are strongly encouraged to provide a Cover Letter and Teaching Dossier.
