POSITION SUMMARY Winter Student – Front‑End Developer What You Will Be Doing As a Front‑End Developer Student at OLG you will support a variety of design and development practices, such as: Gather business requirements from lab team. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Develop user‑facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use. Execute unit tests to ensure consistency across devices and browsers. Identify potential solution risks/issues and communicate to relevant stakeholders. What We’re Looking For Sound interest in designing and developing user interfaces and Single Page Apps. Understanding of coding/development. Working knowledge of different programming languages and frameworks (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Node.js, React/Vue.js, RESTful API). Strong communication skills to support technology and operations partners. The passion and eagerness to learn, attention to detail, strong time‑management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities within a demanding environment. Work collaboratively within an agile environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional PowerPoint and Excel skills.
