Co-Founder, Global Students for Climate Justice

Role We are searching for a passionate leader to join as a Co-Founder and help shape our strategy and growth. Our preference would be to hire a bilingual applicant based in Montreal. This individual will help to lead our Concert for the Earth in Montreal (+ future events), build partnerships with universities and environmental organizations, and support the development and outreach of our global environmental app. This is a part‑time leadership role that may grow into a full-time position as we secure grants and donations. Key responsibilities Co‑lead planning and delivery of our Concert for the Earth in Montreal. For an applicant not based in the city, in-person presence would be required in Montreal on April 25th. Develop partnerships with student groups, universities, and environmental organizations. Help design and implement outreach and marketing for our global environmental app. Contribute to overall strategy, fundraising efforts, and communications. Early career professional or graduate student. Strong commitment to climate justice and youth leadership. Background or education in environment, climate, public policy, global health, or related fields. Experience in student organizing, campaigns, events, or nonprofit projects is an asset. Fluency in English and French is preferred. Comfortable working in a start‑up style environment, with flexibility and initiative. Time and location Approx. 10-15 hours per week, flexible schedule. Ability to participate in Montreal‑based activities is an asset.
