Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a variety of challenging projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Professional Registration: Must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with EGBC.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of structural theory and comprehensive understanding of Canadian building codes and design standards, including NBCC, concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design, with a strong emphasis on wood frame construction.
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
