We are currently seeking an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Sales Representative at our Stoney Creek, ON location. In this relationship‑based sales role you will report to the General Manager and help maintain commitments as we expand. You will grow your territory by bringing in new business and developing repeat relationships within existing accounts, consulting with engineers, maintenance, purchasing and others to determine their needs and help clients achieve superior performance. Responsibilities Responsible for new business development and maintaining existing territory. Prospect for new customers, set appointments, and demonstrate product benefits. Develop strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage their business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers and deliver appropriate value proposition. Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects. Respond to customer product inquiries. Engage in direct sales activities. Promote existing and new products. Anticipate client direction and objectives. Manage a robust sales territory. Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships. Attend training and sales meetings as required. Meet or exceed sales targets. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial or agricultural sales. Sales and service orientation. Professional conduct. Good organizational skills. Ability to prospect for new clients. Proficiency with technology to source components and information. Customer relations building and maintenance. Analytical and problem‑solving capability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build relationships with inside sales force. Proven teamwork ability. Self‑motivated and ability to work independently.
