LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Analyst (IT Service Management) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Tasks
- Critically evaluate business requirements gathered from multiple sources and identify the underlying business needs
- Assess and validate various ITSM technology solutions in order to document gap analysis with recommendations
- Facilitate sessions, interviews, and analysis to identify areas for process and systems improvements
- Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs}, including functional and non-functional requirements
- Ensure knowledge transfer to users by providing complete and updated documentation and by identifying appropriate training needs
- Ensure awareness and approval for releases, enhancement, defects and any other changes that impact the ITSM system and processes
- Ensure alignment with the organizations ITSM strategy, SDLC process and support the coordination and integration of the ITSM system with all other IT processes
- Assist with implementing and facilitating change management within assigned projects and day to day operational requirements related to the organizations ITSM system
- Define IT Service requirements and develop processes
- Engage Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance of ITSM system to create awareness and adoption of technical processes and business groups
- Provides cost effective and timely on-boarding for clients/users/vendors to the organizations ITSM systems
- Support the design of effective end-to-end service management solutions that drive business value across complex business processes
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of recent experience as an IT Business Analyst with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes
- Recent and demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst capacity supporting the migration and integration of new users and vendors to an established ITSM system
- Strong experience and knowledge in updating and maintaining ITSM Service Catalogues
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ITSM CMDB Discovery process
- Experience with the integration of cloud services into ITSM tools and processes
- Strong understanding of ITSM change management processes
Assets
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM
- CBAP designation
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
