LeverageTek is actively seeking a Business Analyst (IT Service Management) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work LocationRemote Key TasksCritically evaluate business requirements gathered from multiple sources and identify the underlying business needsAssess and validate various ITSM technology solutions in order to document gap analysis with recommendationsFacilitate sessions, interviews, and analysis to identify areas for process and systems improvementsPrepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs}, including functional and non-functional requirementsEnsure knowledge transfer to users by providing complete and updated documentation and by identifying appropriate training needsEnsure awareness and approval for releases, enhancement, defects and any other changes that impact the ITSM system and processesEnsure alignment with the organizations ITSM strategy, SDLC process and support the coordination and integration of the ITSM system with all other IT processesAssist with implementing and facilitating change management within assigned projects and day to day operational requirements related to the organizations ITSM systemDefine IT Service requirements and develop processesEngage Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance of ITSM system to create awareness and adoption of technical processes and business groupsProvides cost effective and timely on-boarding for clients/users/vendors to the organizations ITSM systemsSupport the design of effective end-to-end service management solutions that drive business value across complex business processes Key QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of recent experience as an IT Business Analyst with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processesRecent and demonstrated experience in a Business Analyst capacity supporting the migration and integration of new users and vendors to an established ITSM systemStrong experience and knowledge in updating and maintaining ITSM Service Catalogues QualificationsStrong knowledge and understanding of ITSM CMDB Discovery processExperience with the integration of cloud services into ITSM tools and processesStrong understanding of ITSM change management processes AssetsExperience with ServiceNow ITSMCBAP designationLean Six Sigma Certification About LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek IT Solutions has worked resolutely to become one of the industry’s most recognized and trusted suppliers of technology staffing and business consulting services.
