Serving as the RBC “Centre of Expertise” within the Next Best Action (NBA) Delivery team in the deployment of data‑driven, targeted client communications for Next Best Action. You will champion and successfully manage through uncertainty and change in a fast‑paced environment while leading and supporting team members through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities. What will you do? Given the growing number and complexity of incentives designed to attract new clients and retain existing ones, this role will focus on modernizing and enhancing all incentive processes, with a particular emphasis on quality assurance activities Lead PBA fulfillment process including overseeing the set‑up of new offers, execution of incentives and support of overall Quality Assurance strategies This is a highly technical role requiring hands‑on experience with data and decisioning tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python/ Teradata, Lumina) and expertise in Data‑enabled Customer Relationship Management that provides support to the Canadian Banking Marketing Team to execute effective and efficient direct marketing campaigns and initiatives including incentives Accountable for leading the development of and execution of test plans for the fulfillment engine, and automating these checks Single point of accountability for the success of awarding of incentives Lead the development of data driven reporting to be shared with senior partners Lead the activities of a team (dotted line) within the line of business, enabling the team to meet objectives Establish and drive strategic and tactical Incentives into the engine and respective QA initiatives Manage key partnerships with business and functional leaders to support the delivery of business results while aligned to the NBA strategy Transform and optimize marketing process and spend to shape the future of RBC marketing capabilities Lead execution of marketing strategies to ensure efforts meet optimization and analysis requirements Ensure Regulatory/Legal/Privacy adherence to improve quality, drive efficiency and ensure corporate reputation is maintained Act as Subject Matter Expert on relevant Data sources, Channels, and campaign design and execution standards Must have: Minimum 5-7 years of experience developing and implementing project end to end testing strategies and plans and managing the end to end process Experience leading test case design at different levels, test optimization and automation efforts and identifying automation opportunities In‑depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies Strong business domain knowledge (Credit cards and Everyday Banking) Computer Engineering, Computer Science, related (technical) degree/diploma, or related breadth of experience Attention to detail and time management is critical Strong Analytical mindset Ability to build strong lateral relationships through influence Strong project management and implementation skills – time management Strong problem resolution and decision‑making skills Strong understanding of the Data Warehouse Environments and Data Lake Exceptional communication skills to be able to translate and interpret complex analysis into actionable and consumable insights What’s in it for you?
