We are seeking skilled Tannery Workers with at least 3 years of relevant experience in fur dressing and hide processing. Your responsibilities will include operating fleshing and shaving machines, handling various animal skins, and ensuring product quality. You will also perform minor repairs and conduct machine setup to maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate fleshing and shaving machines for hide processing
• Control hide thickness and ensure uniform shaving
• Inspect hides and finished products for quality standards
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
• Train and support other workers as needed
Requirements:
• Minimum secondary school education required
• At least 3 years of experience in tannery processes
• Knowledge of fur finishing or skinning preferred
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Manual dexterity and troubleshooting skills
