Associate Professor/Professor - The CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research We invite applications for a full‑time tenure stream position in Nursing at the Lawrence Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. The rank will be Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Successful candidates may be named to the CAMH Chair in Mental Health Nursing Research for a five‑year term, renewable following a favourable review. Qualifications Entry‑to‑practice degree (BScN or MN) in nursing and a Ph in nursing or a related discipline. Eligibility for registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Exceptional record of excellence in research and teaching. Strong program of research in mental health nursing with focus on healthcare pathways, transitions, optimized patient experience, implementation of best evidence and emerging practices, patient‑reported outcomes and/or nursing care of patients with mental health conditions. Experience working with, teaching, or mentoring diverse groups or students. Established international reputation, expected to sustain and lead innovative and independent research at the highest international level and maintain an outstanding, competitive, and externally funded research program. Responsibilities Integrate research, education, and clinical work to advance mental health nursing research. Sustain a strong track record as a clinical nurse scholar, including publications in leading journals and as an externally‑funded investigator. Initiate collaborations and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Evidence of excellence in teaching through teaching accomplishments and a dossier of prior teaching experience. Research Focus Care transitions, care outcomes, self‑managed and digital/remote innovative technology solutions aimed to improve patient experience, systems, and models of care.
