About the Role Our client, a growing retail organization, is seeking a strategic and growth-minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, driving operational excellence, and supporting expansion initiatives. The CFO will oversee the full financial stack of the company, lead capital raising efforts, manage banking relationships, and provide strategic guidance to ensure sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals and growth objectives. Lead capital raising initiatives and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and investors. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies across the organization. Drive operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making across departments. Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Build and maintain strong banking and financial networks to support organizational needs. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning and organizational development. Manage international financial operations and oversee overseas entities. Must-Have Requirements Retail industry experience (required). Minimum 10 years of experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role. Proven experience managing international/overseas operations . Strong background in risk management, strategic planning, and operational leadership . Highly analytical with the ability to drive data-informed decisions. Demonstrated success in capital raising and banking relationship management . Experience leading RFP processes and navigating complex financial environments. Established network within the financial and banking sectors .
