Role The Senior Technical Consultant - R&D is a leading member of the Veeva Systems Professional Services group. You will provide consulting and technical architecture design on projects implementing Veeva Vault R&D applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions to life sciences customers. You will act as a customer advocate, working closely with Services, Product, Sales, and Strategy teams to ensure customer success both today and in the future. This is a remote, full-time permanent role; qualified U.S. and Canada–based applicants near an airport and able to travel are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Systems implementation, Vault R&D product suite, Vault Platform, technical design, and SaaS implementation best practices Design and implement cloud-based integrations Design and provide expertise for the development of custom applications Implement Java-based solutions using the Vault Java SDK Manage integration and development projects and resources Contribute to the professional services knowledge base Develop internal and external tools to help customers and consultants Partner with other parts of the organization to deliver technical presentations and evangelize the value of Veeva’s solution Requirements 7+ years of experience with integration architecture, design, and development for enterprise/cloud software (e.g., Salesforce.com, SAP, Workday) or document/content management systems (e.g., OpenText, SharePoint, Documentum) 7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience 5+ years of development experience in Java, .NET, Python, C#, or C++ Experience building cloud/SaaS solutions using REST APIs Proven track record presenting to senior management and executives as a subject matter expert Experience leading and mentoring team members Excellent presentation skills Experience with SDLC processes Ability to articulate integration design patterns Ability to travel up to 10% Must be located in and legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada Nice to Have Experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry Experience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety processes Project management experience for enterprise software implementations Experience with GxP regulations and software validation Document/Data migration experience Product Manager experience Experience with source code control systems AWS tools such as Lambda and EC2 Perks & Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance PTO and company-paid holidays Retirement programs 1% charitable giving program Compensation Base pay: CAD 100,000 - 145,000 Salary range shown complies with local regulations and may vary by experience and location.
