Position Purpose Position Purpose: This position is responsible for supporting relationships with potential customers and solidifying long-term relationships with existing clients. This position is responsible for effectively supporting the sales team and marketing plan. Duties and Responsibilities Manage potential clients through the sales pipeline. Manage an accurate and meticulously current CRM system. Prepare call summaries for the CRM system and high-level updates for management as assigned. Update website text and make minor content changes based on business development and goals. Manage Google Ads and Search Console, and make recommendations for improvements/optimization. Content writing for social media posts (e.g. LinkedIn) and website blog posts. Provide administrative support (e.g., ship sales documents, scheduling calls, meetings, NuWave site visits, and customer site visits). Conduct discovery calls or help qualify prospects by researching the prospect prior to and after the call. Follow up on sales inquiries in a timely fashion. Create sales presentations for potential customers. Create quarterly presentations for shareholders and the executive team. Create customized sales packages and proposals for potential high-value customers. Assist in editing and proofreading sales agreements, marketing materials, and other communications, both internal and external. Facilitate communication between Sales and the Material Science and Engineering departments to ensure customer needs for feasibility, development, and other testing are being met. Maintain an understanding of customer needs and evaluate research and development opportunities demanded by current market analysis. Help maintain sales technology infrastructure. Maintain and organize department standard operating procedures. Help execute quarterly Sales & Marketing department goals. Organize and participate in customer calls, customer site visits, customer demos, tradeshows, and expos. Prepare and execute annual customer questionnaires designed to evaluate the effectiveness of various parts of the customer experience. Both domestic and international travel, depending on business needs (not frequent). Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree/ diploma in business, science or other relevant fields is required. Experience Previous B2B inside sales or sales development representative experience. Previous customer service experience. Intermediate Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint skills. Experience using/managing CRM software. Experience creating sales content in Microsoft Word, DocuSign, Adobe, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns Experience with WordPress. Experience in copywriting and creating social media and blog content is an asset. Experience in project management is an asset. Previous B2B marketing experience is an asset. Experience in market analysis is an asset. Experience in creating client deliverables in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint is an asset. Skills and Abilities Ability to manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads to meet or exceed sales targets. Strong ability to manage time and multiple priorities to achieve high-quality deliverables and avoid bottlenecks. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and positive attitude under pressure. Professional etiquette (both written and verbal) with co-workers, customers, vendors, and individuals visiting NuWave Research. Strong work ethic and ability to work positively and respectfully with co-workers. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented sales environment.
