Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Ontario, Canada, for a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant. No hybrid/remote work. The Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant is responsible for providing expert guidance and support to individuals with disabilities or injuries, helping them achieve their vocational goals by identifying suitable employment opportunities and facilitating their integration into the workforce. The consultant assesses clients’ skills, limitations, and aspirations, and develops personalized rehabilitation plans that include training, counseling, and placement assistance. Qualifications Proficiency in Vocational Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Counseling Experience in Disability Management and effective Case Management skills Minimum 2 years related experience in the last 5 years Bachelor’s degree in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Certification in vocational rehabilitation or disability management (e.g., CVRP) Strong Consulting skills to provide expert advice and support to clients and stakeholders Empathy and sensitivity towards clients’ individual needs and challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of relevant legislation and programs such as WSIB, CPP-D, or ODSP is an asset Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and collaborate with team members Strong knowledge of disability‑related legislation and workplace accommodations Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Other Industries: Vocational Rehabilitation Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
