Position Overview The Medical Director (Calgary) is a combined clinical and leadership role in HomeFree’s Medically‑Supervised Homecare™ program. This physician leader ensures that all care plans, clinical care, and client retention practices meet the highest standards for both patient care and customer service. They will promote and press forward the values and mission of HomeFree Homecare. The Medical Director will have ownership of all aspects of clinical care for Calgary‑based clients, including supporting caregivers and care managers, as well as providing direct patient care. They will also have an important role in business operations including client acquisition/retention, onboarding, clinical protocol development, and business promotion. Qualifications MD degree and active CPSA licence in good standing. Experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Care of the Elderly, Internal Medicine, or equivalent. Strong understanding of seniors’ health, frailty, dementia, mobility issues, and community‑based care. Business acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset are an asset, as this role requires the physician to act as a sales agent in some contexts. Demonstrated leadership in clinical environments; comfort working with interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, family‑centred approach.
